Dear Customers,
The recommendations on the Ministry of Health website have been updated this morning.
At this stage we understand that the infected person only visited The Cosmetic Clinic and those in the store at that time are classed as close contacts. The Cosmetic Clinic are following the correct protocols and have organised a deep clean of the store.
The safety of our customers is paramount to us, so we will be undertaking a deep clean of the Centre starting this evening to be completed by tomorrow.
Thanks again for your patience.

*COVID-19 UPDATE, 17 AUGUST 2021*
To our WestCity Waitakere community,
We are temporarily closed during Level 4, except for essential services. Countdown Supermarket, Unichem Pharmacy and i-Medical Centre will remain open. Store hours may differ, so please contact the store directly for the latest information.
The health and safety of customers and staff is a priority. We want to assure customers that robust health and safety procedures have been put in place in response to Covid-19 Coronavirus.
Proactive measures in place at our shopping centre include:
- An increase in the frequency and intensity of cleaning in public spaces, including bathrooms and high-contact surfaces
- Postponement of all public events to minimise close social contact
- The inclusion of public health messaging within the shopping centre regarding virus prevention as recommended by the Ministry of Health.
Some measures may be an inconvenience, but the health and safety of our staff and shoppers is our priority.
We will be updating these measures as the public health response to Covid-19 evolves, and will do all we can to communicate changes to customers.
We appreciate and thank you for your patience and support during this time and ask if you do feel unwell, then please stay home. The latest Covid-19 advice from the Ministry of Health is available here.
Kia Kaha NZ, we can do this! ❤️
