In New Zealand Children’s Day is celebrated on the 1st Sunday in March so we’re hosting a special celebration for the littlest and most precious members of our community. Children will especially enjoy Tornado Tammy, the Mad Scientist’s Bubble Science show. This fun and educational show uses really cool bubbles to teach children about different kinds of air, including oxygen and carbon dioxide, and how we need to be friends with our Waitakere Ranges, because the trees make oxygen for us to breathe! The show includes learning about clouds, making a volcano, and putting a person inside a giant bubble!
Tornado Tammy, the Mad Scientist, has been bringing science to kids through fun, interactive shows and will inspire your children to pursue science and ask questions about the world around them.
Fern & Nikau the WestCity Explorers will be handing out treats plus there’s face painting and a balloon artist to add to the fun.
Activities take place on Sunday 3rd March 11am – 2pm, Centre Court, level 1
